Squiddo.com pays but they only share revenu they make – can take ages to ean but its something.
Hub pages is a blogging platform that shares your adsense revenue and you can also try blogertery that hosts wordpress blogs for free and shares adsense revenue.
You really are better off starting your own blog (choose something that interests you) and putting adsense or adverts on it. At least you get to keep 100% of the profits. Set up an RSS feed and submit to social network sites for traffic. There is a fabulous step-by-step guide at that will really set you on the right course.
