Looking for information on what WordPress plugins affiliate marketers use in new installations. All responses welcome – make sure to include your own website and I’ll link to it from the article I’m writing.

While there are literally thousands of WordPress plugins available to those that use WP as their blog platform, there are only a handful that I use on a regular basis.
For affiliate marketing, I like…
[1] The Max Banner Ads Plugin – This plugin installs very easily and it allows you to randomly show banner ads (coded with your affiliate link of course) on your blogs. It even keeps track of the amount of impressions each banner has received and your clickthrough rate for each as well.
It’s not as robust as the “OpenX” plugin but it’s way easier to install/configure/use.
[2] The WP Affiliate plugin – This plugin is also easy to install and use and it gives you an Admin panel that allows you to enter affiliate links and assign them to a particular keyword phrase.
Once added, the plugin will search your posts (even if they are years old) and it will hyperlink the keyword phrases you defined in your posts to your affiliate link… killer!
You can control how many times per post this should occur and it makes it so fast to add affiliate links into your posts.
If you make a post in the future that contains one of the keyword phrases you’ve already defined then it will link that term through your affiliate link automatically.
There are many more plugins but these two really rock for affiliate marketing!
